Collaborating with the exhibition design firm Academy Studios, I developed exhibit content for the Museo Interactivo de Economía (MIDE) in Mexico City, the world's first interactive museum focused solely on economics. Funded by Banco de México, MIDE aims to increase economic literacy and sustainability for the citizens of Mexico.
Exhibits explored the concept of 'want' verses 'need' and conveyed the overarching message that we're all part of the economy—regardless of whether we put money in the bank or under a mattress. From environmental sustainability and global finance to the impact of economic scarcity, all topics were presented as fun and engaging group interactives aimed at a youth audience ages 15 to 25.
